Infant Care

Infant Care

A special home for a most special age. Our nursery has been specifically designed to create a warm and secure environment for your infant. By limiting the number of infants in our nursery to 4, we can provide each child with the opportunity to develop at his or her own pace. Our infant caregivers are nurturing, loving, professionally trained in health, safety, and early child development milestones. Our infant curriculum is planned to include classical music and sensory experiences that will enhance your child's brain development. We encourage our Moms and Dads to visit during the day, whether to feed their baby or simply to play with them. We strive to set the child's schedule to remain consistent with their parents' schedule at home.

Toddler

Toddlers

Caring for toddlers is about building relationships and making the most of everyday experiences and routines while introducing a comprehensive curriculum. Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor, and social skills. They begin to turn ideas into words and phrases to express themselves. Toddlers begin to practice the concept of sharing and cooperating through group play.

Our nurturing staff understands the basic principles of toddler development and are eager to help build a foundation for the future of each child. Our program provides a safe, stimulating, and fully accessible environment where children can explore and learn. We work individually with the children to help them experience the initial stages of social interactions, language development, and learning through discovery. Their days are filled with art, music, movement, and outdoor running and climbing. There is also quiet time for books and puzzles.

Two's

Two's

Two’s are anxious to learn. Your child will discover something new each day under the caring eyes of our experienced teachers. They are busy exploring their environment and learning to communicate their thoughts. They will learn to socialize with others and begin to take care of themselves independently. Just as importantly, they need to learn many new skills in thought processing and communicating. Our stimulating program encourages two-year-olds to develop their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment. By encouraging child-directed play, we ensure that your child develops at his own unique pace.

Preschool/Pre-K

Preschool & Junior Kindergarten

The preschool curriculum is a kindergarten readiness program integrating all the basic knowledge needed to build a solid foundation of learning for the future. Your child is taught at his/her own pace and challenged through hands-on experiences, socialization skills, and vocabulary development. Our program emphasizes creativity and imagination. The teachers really get to know each child in their classroom and teach to every kind of learner whether it be a visual, auditory, or experience learner. Each new concept is taught in several different ways in order to reach each student.

Our junior kindergarten curriculum uses the "Handwriting without Tears" program and the "Get set for School" lessons. The two curriculums provide language proficiency, letter and number recognition, social skills, and fine and gross motor control. These multi-sensory lessons break difficult concepts into simple tasks. The math portion of the program integrates Unifix Cubes as a manipulative tool to aid in basic math skills such as one-to-one correspondence, sequencing, patterning, parts of a whole, and addition.

Learning centers and free play are an integral part of learning at this age. During these times of the day, the teacher is a facilitator in the classroom and the children have the opportunity to problem-solve and make their own choices. Each class also goes outside to our spacious playground of age-appropriate climbing equipment, balls, and imagination toys.

School Ages

School Age

Our before- and after-school programs are designed to complement the structured day of elementary school. Our teachers help each child with their homework after they have eaten a healthy after-school snack. We also offer a relaxed mix of learning and recreation including a variety of games, sports, music, arts and crafts, and field trips. Classrooms, as well as playgrounds, are grouped by grade level, giving every child the opportunity to spend time with their friends and enjoy age-appropriate activities. Our school-age program is also offered during school breaks, holidays and teacher in-service days so you never have to worry about being left without childcare.
