Our curriculum includes emergent reading, math, science, social studies, and is enhanced with enrichment classes in creative movement, art, music, sign language, and computers.

Two-year-olds are anxious to learn. Your child will discover something new each day under the caring guidance of our experienced teachers. They will learn to socialize with others and begin to take care of themselves independently. Just as importantly, they need to learn many new skills in thought processing and communicating. Our stimulating program encourages two-year-olds to develop their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment. By encouraging child-directed play, we ensure that your child develops at his own unique pace.

Preschool & Junior Kindergarten

The preschool curriculum is a kindergarten readiness program integrating all the basic knowledge needed to build a solid foundation of learning for the future. Your child is taught at his/her own pace and challenged through hands-on experiences, socialization skills, and vocabulary development. Our program emphasizes creativity and imagination. The teachers really get to know each child in their classroom and teach to every kind of learner whether it be a visual, auditory, or experience learner. Each new concept is taught in several different ways in order to reach every student.

Chester Junior Kindergarten program joins two curriculums; a Carson-Dellosa program called High Reach and the Exceed Preschool Curriculum. Both programs integrate language, literacy, math, science, music, and art into your child’s day in a developmentally appropriate environment. The math units teach number recognition, graphing, sequencing, predicting, and problem-solving. The language portion teaches your child phonological awareness such as letter recognition, beginning sounds, and vowel sounds.

Learning centers and free play are an integral part of learning at this age. During these times of the day, the teacher is a facilitator in the classroom and the children have the opportunity to problem-solve and make their own choices. Every class also goes outside to our spacious playground of age-appropriate climbing equipment, balls, and imagination toys.

School Age

School Age

Our before- and after-school programs are designed to complement the structured day of elementary school. Our teachers help each child with their homework after they have eaten a healthy after-school snack. We also offer a relaxed mix of learning and recreation including a variety of games, sports, music, arts and crafts, and field trips. Classrooms, as well as playgrounds, are grouped by grade level, giving every child the opportunity to spend time with their friends and enjoy age-appropriate activities. Our school-age program is also offered during school breaks, holidays, and teacher in-service days so you never have to worry about being left without childcare.
