About Chester Child Development Center

Chester Child Development Center is a Nationally Accredited private school. We are designed to provide for the social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of children. Our programs will expose your child to a variety of stimulating learning experiences, social interactions, individual and group activities, and skillful guidance by trained teachers.

Our owner, Suzanne Wittersheim has a B.S degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and over 40 years experience as a child development center owner and director in several Chesterfield County childcare centers. Ally Stevens, our Area Supervisor, has been an educator in child development for 20 years. Ally serves on the John Tyler Community College Advisory Board for college curriculum in Child Care Administration. Wanda Robertson, our Site Director, educated children for 10 years and has been an employee of Chester Child Development Center for five years.

The staff of Chester Child Development Center believes each child is a unique individual and is sensitive to their social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that meet their individual needs and we encourage the love of learning.

We believe that every child is special and we strive to provide that child with the tools need for a lifetime of love, laughter and learning!
