Your child's Health and Security are our first priority.

Accreditation:

Clover Hill Children's Center , is NATIONALLY ACCREDITED by the International Academy for Private Education (IAPE). IAPE is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing accreditation and educational evaluative services to private educational institutions. Specifically, the IAPE accredits four types of private educational facilities and programs. They include private licensed child day programs, private preschools, private elementary schools, and private secondary schools.

Our accreditation services feature an evaluative review process based on accepted methods and principles of school, curriculum, teacher and pupil study. Health and safety, as well as the institution's reputation and long standing in the field, are all considered as part of the complete examination.

Each of our accreditation programs are based on four principle components. They include 1)The Self Evaluation Review, 2) Staff Survey, 3) Parent Survey, 4) Onsite study and Evaluation and Validation. Upon successful completion of the full program, the center is granted a national accreditation certificate.

 

Security:

 Security precautions at Clover Hill Children's Center include:

•  Video Monitoring of classrooms
•  Security Key Pad Entrance
•  Fire Drills
•  Evacuation Plan
•  Staff CPR and First Aid Certified
•  Seat-belt and Cellular equipped Buses
•  Requesting staff to record headcount (written log) when entering and exiting playgrounds
•  Individually privately fenced, age appropriate playground areas
•  Children must be signed in and out by parents or a person specifically designated by you.
•  Policy for Proof of Identifications

Medication:

Only medications that are deemed emergency medications may be administered to a child and must be accompanied by written consent from the parents or legal guardians. All medications must be in original containers and clearly labeled with the following:

•  Child's name
•  Current Date
•  Exact Dosage
•  Times to be Given
•  Expiration Date
•  Special Instructions

 

Health Safety:

In every age group, teachers follow standards to maintain a sanitary environment. They regularly wash hands, toys, crib sheets, mattresses, and equipment.

Our Health and Safety policies include detailed procedures for preparing and handling food, safe bottle warming and accepting only unopened food items.

Information related to specific child allergies is recorded in the center's data base and posted on every lunch tray and in every child's classroom.
